They got a lot of their signings done in the early period, adding Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giovanni Leoni, Freddie Woodman and Armin Pecsi. Giorgi Mamardashvili is now an official Reds player, too, after he signed but returned to Valencia last season.<\/p>\n<p>But Isak is the big draw, and wants a move to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds have tried to get him with a \u00a3110million offer, but Newcastle won\u2019t budge, holding out for \u00a3150million or the Swede won\u2019t be going anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>But Liverpool could have a plan to secure him via another method.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.caughtoffside.com\/2025\/08\/22\/liverpool-federico-chiesa-alexander-isak\/\" target=\"_blank\">Caught Offside<\/a> reports \u2018internal discussions have taken place\u2019 over offering <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/federico-chiesa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federico Chiesa<\/a> to Newcastle as part of a swap for Isak.<\/p>\n<p>Chiesa has been the subject of reports that Liverpool would let him go this summer, but he\u2019s started the campaign well, with a goal in an eight-minute came off the bench against Bournemouth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>DON\u2019T MISS<\/strong>:\u00a0\ud83d\udd34\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/dream-liverpool-xi-2025-26-two-new-signings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Liverpool XI after dream end to summer transfer window with \u00a3190m signing blitz<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chiesa has many suitors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If he is not included in a swap deal for Isak, Chiesa could yet be let go, though.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the report states he is continuing to attract \u2018plenty of interest\u2019 towards the end of the summer.<\/p>\n<p>AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atalanta, Roma, Napoli and Fulham are all said to be interested in the Italian winger.<\/p>\n<p>Chiesa himself is not desperate to leave, though, so it remains to be seen if anyone will be able to prise him away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liverpool round-up: Isak price could drop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While Newcastle have so far been adamant that they won\u2019t sell Isak for under \u00a3150million, a reporter has suggested there are signs that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/alexander-isak-newcastle-united-price-drop-liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a3130million could do the trick<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of an exit, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/alisson-liverpool-al-nassr-summer-transfer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alisson leaving Liverpool has been described as \u2018almost impossible\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Amid Al-Nassr links, the Reds goalkeeper has been said to be \u2018tempted by the challenge\u2019 of playing in Saudi Arabia, though it does not look likely right now.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Liverpool\u2019s impending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/marc-guehi-manchester-city-liverpool-crystal-palace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">signing of Marc Guehi could reportedly be hijacked by Manchester City<\/a>, who could lose one or both of Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isak next?
