Sun Yingsha defeated Wang Manyu in the all-China women\u2019s final at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Europe Smash in Sweden on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The women\u2019s competition had set up a clash between the rankings\u2019 top two players at the Malmo Arena, as Sun, the world No 1, took on second-ranked Wang.<\/p>\n
Both had enjoyed comfortable semi-final victories, in each case an all-Chinese affair. Sun saw off Chen Yi 4-1, while Wang cruised past Shi Xunyao 4-0.<\/p>\n
The final, though, was a much closer matter, as Wang found herself 2-0 down before drawing level by claiming the next two.<\/p>\n
Sun, however, turned the tide again, recovering to take the fifth and sixth games and emerge a 4-2 winner as it ended 11-9, 11-9, 5-11, 10-12, 11-6, 11-5.<\/p>\n
