Sunday’s action in the Premier League<\/a> gave us plenty of taking points — the main one being that Manchester United<\/a> still look as bad as they looked last season.<\/p>\n

After Bruno Fernandes<\/a> missed a first-half penalty, Man United failed to bounce back at Fulham<\/a> on Sunday, settling for a 1-1 draw. Leny Yoro<\/a> did give United the lead in the second half, only for it to be canceled out shortly thereafter. It was originally credited as a goal by Fulham’s Emile Smith Rowe<\/a>, but later changed to an own goal from Rodrigo Muniz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, Man United really haven’t figured out how to start getting out of their own way, huh?<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, Everton beat Brighton<\/a> 2-0 in the first league fixture at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium with goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner.<\/p>\n
