Soulwax<\/a> have shared the latest single from their upcoming album \u2018All Systems Are Lying\u2019 \u2013 listen to \u2018New Earth Time\u2019 below.<\/p>\n

The Belgian dance-punk group, featuring brothers Stephen and David Dewaele, announced their first studio record in seven years will be released on October 17<\/a> via DEEWEE\/Because Music and you can pre-order\/pre-save your copy here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They have already released the double A-side single \u2018All Systems Are Lying\u2019 and \u2018Run Free\u2019<\/a>, and now they have followed those up with \u2018New Earth Time\u2019, a propulsive, twitching track built around the trademark deep Soulwax percussion sound and dancing modular synths.<\/p>\n

The Dewaele brothers (aka\u00a02ManyDJs<\/a>)\u00a0have called the record, which is a follow-up to\u00a02018\u2019s \u2018Essential\u2019, \u201ca rock album made without any electric guitars\u201d, adding: \u201cWe wanted to capture the feeling of a band playing electronic instruments \u2013 live, loud and loose. This record is the result of that experiment.\u201d<\/p>\n

A press release states: \u201c\u2018All Systems Are Lying\u2019 was built entirely from modular synths, live drums, tape machines and processed vocals. It\u2019s a fractured mirror held up to modern society on the brink \u2013 where truth is distorted by filters, algorithms and noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2024,\u00a0Soulwax debuted the \u2018All Systems Are Lying\u2019 cuts \u2018Hot Like Sahara\u2019, \u2018Idiots In Love\u2019, \u2018New Earth Time\u2019 and \u2018Polaris\u2019<\/a>\u00a0during their UK and European headline tour \u2013 which boasted an ambitious stage production.<\/p>\n

In other news, 2ManyDJs\u00a0have\u00a0provided the soundtrack<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0Netflix<\/a>\u2018s new film starring Vincent Cassel,\u00a0Banger.<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, Soulwax told\u00a0NME<\/a>\u00a0that they were \u201ctrying different things out because we don\u2019t want to do the same thing\u201d.
