She was in the line-up alongside headliners Olly Alexander and Nelly Furtado.<\/p>\n This year marks 40 years since the inception of Manchester Pride began. In 1985, the first official event took place but it wasn\u2019t known as Manchester Pride back then.<\/p>\n It has had a number of names over the years, including Gay Week, Manchester Mardi Gras and Gayfest.<\/p>\n
