He has been held in former KGB prison Lefortovo, where political opponents were and still are imprisoned, since April.<\/p>\n<p><b>Sport:<\/b> Badminton fans rejoice. The BWF World Championships get under way in Paris\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Tuesday<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>In memoriam:<\/b> France will mark the 60th anniversary of the death of Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p><b>Thursday<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>International politics:<\/b> President Macron will attend the 25th Franco-German Council of Ministers in Toulon.<\/p>\n<p><b>Football:<\/b> The draw for this season\u2019s Uefa Champions League takes place in Monaco.<\/p>\n<p><b>Friday<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Economy:<\/b> France\u2019s August inflation estimate and GDP results for the first quarter of the year will be announced.<\/p>\n<p><b>Travel:<\/b> Roads watchdog Bison Fut\u00e9 predicts one final weekend of heavy traffic on France\u2019s roads as the last of the summer holidaymakers head home.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rugby:<\/b> Men\u2019s domestic professional rugby kicks off in France, with the second-tier ProD2 starting on Friday evening.
