Margaret Qualley has no interest in joining a movie franchise, a least not right now.<\/p>\n

The \u201cHoney Don\u2019t!\u201d actress sat down with host Perri Nemiroff on Collider\u2019s \u201cLadies Night\u201d for an interview, published Saturday,<\/a> and talked about her career to date and her goals for the future. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf you could join the film franchise of your choice, what franchise would you pick and what role would you play?\u201d Nemiroff asked during the show\u2019s \u201cDicey Questions\u201d segment. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I want to commit to a franchise,\u201d Qualley said with a laugh as she struggled to even pick a favorite franchise as a fan. \u201cIt seems like a lot of time. I\u2019m a commitment-phobe maybe. But also, no one\u2019s asking me to do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Nemiroff then addressed the rumors surrounding the X-Men and said that there was a large amount of fan enthusiasm for Qualley to join the MCU as Rogue. The actress was a bit shocked by the rumor and was quick to squash it. Qualley, who is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, got her start on HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Leftovers\u201d and has since scored two Emmy nominations for her roles in \u201cMaid\u201d and \u201cFosse\/Verdon.\u201d She\u2019s also had a blossoming film career in movies like \u201cThe Nice Guys,\u201d \u201cPoor Things\u201d and \u201cThe Substance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Qualley did admit she would never say never in regards to joining a major film franchise. When asked if there was anything that would get her to sign \u201ca five film agreement\u201d she said that the production team would play a big factor. <\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cProbably just a director,\u201d she concluded. \u201cI think if you have an amazing director you feel safe and excited.\u201d <\/p>\n
