{"id":371747,"date":"2025-08-25T07:19:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T07:19:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/371747\/"},"modified":"2025-08-25T07:19:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T07:19:09","slug":"royal-orthopaedic-appoints-new-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/371747\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Orthopaedic appoints new CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\tTHE ROYAL Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH) has appointed a new chief executive.<br \/>\nThe trust confirmed its appointment of Matthew Hartland following a competitive recruitment process.<\/p>\n<p>Hartland has been working with the Trust on secondment and will formally take up the role in early October, subject to standard pre-employment checks. During his time with ROH, he has led the development of a new Trust strategy, supported leadership changes, and overseen improvements in performance and delivery of targets.<\/p>\n<p>Simon Page, chair of trustees at ROH, praised Hartland\u2019s leadership and alignment with the Trust\u2019s values. He added: \u201cMatthew\u2019s passion for patients, commitment to our people, and strong alignment with our values have been evident from the very beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on his appointment, Matthew Hartland said it was a privilege to be appointed chief executive.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>He added: \u201cI am proud of what we have achieved together so far, and I am excited to continue working with colleagues, patients, partners, and our community to build on this progress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur focus will remain firmly on delivering the very best care for patients, supporting our exceptional staff, and strengthening the Trust for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; THE ROYAL Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH) has appointed a new chief executive.
