Birmingham<\/a> City make the quick turnaround from Championship action to face Port Vale<\/a> in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night. BCFC welcome the League One side to St. Andrew\u2019s after beating Sheffield United<\/a> in the first round.<\/p>\n

Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi<\/a> and Jay Stansfield saw the Blues progress despite a halfway-line strike from Gustavo Hamer.<\/p>\n

Chris Davies\u2019 side will be big favourites here and are just a couple days removed from a home win in the Championship, defeating Oxford United<\/a> thanks to Paik Seung-ho\u2019s 40th-minute goal.<\/p>\n

As for Port Vale<\/a>, they make the trip to Birmingham<\/a> City having beaten fellow League One side Blackpool<\/a> to make it to this stage. Loan man Mo Faal<\/a> scored the only goal of the game to book their spot in the second round.<\/p>\n
