Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway<\/a> was left to carry on solo after Richard Madeley suddenly departed from the studio.<\/p>\n

During Monday’s instalment of the ITV<\/a> breakfast programme (August 25) Kate, 58, and Richard, 69, returned to screens to deliver the daily headlines across the globe.<\/p>\n

However, one particular discussion<\/a> took an unforeseen twist when they brought on Raymond Martin, managing director of the British Toilet Association, to talk about the shortage of public toilets.<\/p>\n

The conversation seemed to trigger a sudden realisation for Richard<\/a> as he confessed: “Talking about it, now I need to go on a break.” He immediately stood up and departed the ITV studio.<\/p>\n

Everyone burst out laughing as he continued: “That\u2019s the psychological impact of it.” Turning to Raymond, he joked: “Well, I\u2019ll think about you when I spend a penny.”<\/p>\n

Raymond laughed as he replied: “That\u2019s good.” Kate jumped in: “Good thing you\u2019ve got a good sense of humour.”<\/p>\n

As Kate attempted to present what was coming up on the show, Richard couldn\u2019t wait as he abruptly got out of his seat and began to walk off set to go to the toilet, as reported by the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kate was then forced to present a section of the show alone as she pointed out: “Richard is off the loo now.”<\/p>\n

After the break, the pair didn’t address Richard’s disappearance from the show, however he was soon back on screens to continue on with the rest of the show.<\/p>\n

It comes as earlier on in the programme, weather presenter Laura Tobin shared record breaking news after announcing that today’s English and Welsh bank holiday is forecast to be one of the hottest ever.<\/p>\n

Temperatures in some parts of the country could even reach tropical levels of up to 30 degrees.<\/p>\n

The weather presenter shared: “Good morning to you. It is a Bank Holiday Monday for some of us, and it could be record-breakingly warm.<\/p>\n

“And it is down to the remnants of record-breakingly warm hurricane Erin that brought very stormy conditions across eastern parts of America.”<\/p>\n

She added: “This is a satellite showing the spiral of clouds heading our way and what it does is it brings up very warm air from the nearby continent.<\/p>\n

“So these are the highest temperatures that England, Wales, and Northern Ireland have seen on August Bank Holiday Monday, and Wales and Northern Ireland could break those records today.”<\/p>\n
