{"id":372061,"date":"2025-08-25T10:13:23","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T10:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/372061\/"},"modified":"2025-08-25T10:13:23","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T10:13:23","slug":"three-ways-mikel-arteta-can-replace-bukayo-saka-against-liverpool-including-arsenal-debut-chance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/372061\/","title":{"rendered":"Three ways Mikel Arteta can replace Bukayo Saka against Liverpool including Arsenal debut chance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Arsenal could be facing a potential issue when it comes to the fitness of Bukayo Saka ahead of their crunch match with Liverpool in the Premier League.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The star suffered with a sore hamstring during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/match-reports\/three-winners-and-two-losers-from-arsenals-clash-with-leeds-united-include-bukayo-saka-and-viktor-gyokeres\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arsenal\u2019s win over Leeds<\/a>, pulling up during the game and coming off before the end.<\/p>\n<p>There has been some indication of it not being too serious, as reports suggest that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/news\/arsenal-handed-immediate-bukayo-saka-and-martin-odegaard-injury-update-after-scans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saka\u2019s injury isn\u2019t as bad as first feared<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That said, with the quick turnaround in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/fixtures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League fixture list<\/a>, there may be no guarantee as to his availability for the coming week.<\/p>\n<p>So, with that said, here\u2019s a look at three options for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/mikel-arteta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mikel Arteta<\/a> to replace <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/bukayo-saka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bukayo Saka<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arsenal\u2019s<\/a> clash with Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2230851938-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Arsenal v Leeds United - Premier League\" \/>Photo by Jacques Feeney\/Offside\/Offside via Getty ImagesArsenal\u2019s options to replace Bukayo Saka against Liverpool after injuryNoni Madueke moves to the right flank<\/p>\n<p>One of the obvious candidates to replace Saka is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/noni-madueke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Noni Madueke<\/a>, who signed from Chelsea earlier this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The England international made his full debut for the Gunners against Leeds over the weekend, but started on the left.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually replacing Saka on the right, Madueke looked much more comfortable on that side in the brief stint he played there.<\/p>\n<p>Over his career so far, the 23-year-old has featured on the right 157 times with 46 goals and 28 assists to his name.<\/p>\n<p>Eberechi Eze could be handed Arsenal debut opportunity<\/p>\n<p>It would be a bit of a surprise, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arsenalinsider.com\/tag\/eberechi-eze\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eberechi Eze\u2019s<\/a> debut for Arsenal could come on the right flank against Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>It seems an unlikely option, as he has only played a handful of games out there in his career so far.<\/p>\n<p>However, the quality of Eze could force him into the team sooner rather than later and a place on the right could unlock something new from him.<\/p>\n<p>The chances are that he would start on the left or as the attacking midfield role instead, but it remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"742\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2231708521-1024x742.jpg\" alt=\"Arsenal v Leeds United -
