It\u2019s been six months since Andrew Garfield\u2019s episode of Chicken Shop Date<\/a> aired, and people can\u2019t seem to get over him and host Amelia Dimoldenberg\u2019s chemistry. I mean, I get it \u2014 after two years of red carpet run-ins, they flirted and bantered for 11 minutes straight while eating chicken, titillating the masses and likely inspiring countless fanfics. We haven\u2019t seen much of the pair since then, and now, Dimoldenberg is finally addressing their relationship rumors.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re friends,\u201d Dimoldenberg told the Sunday Times<\/a>, setting the record straight. \u201cI saw him at the Oscars and he\u2019s a great guy, a great person. We\u2019ve got such a great dynamic.\u201d Sure, we knew this \u2014 Garfield has been linked to actress Monica Barbaro<\/a> since earlier this year \u2014 but Garfield\u2019s episode of Chicken Shop Date was a masterclass in chemistry, so I understand the obsession with their lore. And even though Dimoldenberg has chemistry with many, many people (Harris Dickinson<\/a>! Billie Eilish<\/a>!) she tells the Times that she\u2019s happily single.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve got my whole life to be settling down with someone,\u201d she said. \u201cMy life is very fast-paced. I\u2019m going traveling, I\u2019m working away, I\u2019m doing all these different things. I feel like I\u2019m really glad to be single at this moment.\u201d If she were to settle down, though, she\u2019d love to be with someone who\u2019s \u201ckind, thoughtful, intelligent,\u201d self-confident, and funny \u2014 but she\u2019s not in a rush to find the one. \u201cI definitely want to create space in my life to meet someone but, at the same time, I don\u2019t want it to be the focus of everything,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Makes sense.
