Tame Impala<\/a> have seemingly announced another new single, \u2018Loser\u2019. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n

The Kevin Parker<\/a>-led band returned last month with the seven-minute, house-inspired track \u2018End Of Summer\u2019<\/a>, which the frontman had previously debuted during a DJ set in Barcelona<\/a>. It marks the group\u2019s debut release under Columbia Records.<\/p>\n

Fans have since been speculating about whether Tame Impala\u2019s long-awaited fifth album is coming soon, following 2020\u2019s \u2018The Slow Rush\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some eagle-eyed followers have noticed that the \u2018End Of Summer\u2019 writer and producer credits are currently listed as \u201closer\u201d on official online streaming platforms. This cryptic hint led to rumours about what\u2019s coming next from Parker.<\/p>\n

Later, some \u2018Loser\u2019 posters were spotted in New York and Chicago. Alongside what is believed to be the song name is a photograph of Parker in his younger years and a potential release date of \u201c9.3\u201d \u2013 pointing to next Wednesday (September 3).<\/p>\n

Shortly before sharing \u2018End Of Summer\u2019, Parker shared a series of photographs on social media \u2013 revealing that he had \u201cbeen busy\u201d on new music in the studio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The last slide of the carousel featured a whiteboard that appeared to show his progress on various new tracks. Each one had all the aspects ticked off \u2013 including \u201cMIXED\u201d \u2013 and were marked as \u201cDONE\u201d.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the producer and musician posted<\/a> another collection of images and videos, captioned: \u201cBeen busy part 2.\u201d One clip saw Parker recording a funky bassline for a new song. Another snap showed him playing a synthesiser.<\/p>\n

There is currently no further official information about Tame Impala\u2019s upcoming fifth studio album.<\/p>\n

Since dropping \u2018The Slow Rush\u2019 over five years ago, Tame Impala have contributed to the Barbie soundtrack album<\/a>, and collaborated with Thundercat<\/a>, Diana Ross<\/a>, Gorillaz<\/a> and Justice<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Parker worked as a co-producer and co-writer on Dua Lipa\u2019s 2024 album<\/a> \u2018Radical Optimism\u2019<\/a>, and has joined the pop star live on stage at Glastonbury<\/a> and in Sydney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Back in February, he won his first Grammy for \u2018Neverender\u2019<\/a> \u2013 one of his collaborations with Justice.<\/p>\n

Parker reflected on the creation of his 2015 album \u2018Currents\u2019 recently<\/a>, to mark its 10th anniversary.<\/p>\n
