Leeds United and Valencia remain locked in talks over a deal that will see Largie Ramazani join Carlos Corberan\u2019s La Liga outfit on loan for the 2025-26 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ramazani<\/a> has endured a difficult 12 months since his \u00a310m move from Almeria towards the end of the last summer window in 2024. Injury and the form of Manor Solomon and Dan James kept him benched.<\/p>\n

Solomon\u2019s return to Tottenham may have given Ramazani some hope that he would get more minutes this season despite promotion. But Jack Harrison has made a surprise return after his Everton tenure.<\/p>\n

Noah Okafor has now been signed and Leeds<\/a> are open to loaning Ramazani out, with three years left on Ramazani\u2019s contract. Leeds have already let Max Wober, Joe Gelhardt and Mateo Joseph leave on loan.<\/p>\n

It is believed that a permanent clause was set to be included in the loan for Ramazani<\/a>, while Leeds were pushing for a loan fee to be added<\/a>. Despite these obstacles, Valencia are \u2018confident\u2019 of doing a deal.<\/p>\n

So much so, that Corberan\u2019s Valencia think Ramazani could be signed in time to play against Getafe<\/a> on Friday. Now, Tribuna Deportiva<\/a> report a surprise decision made in talks between Leeds and Valencia.<\/p>\n

They say that Valencia have decided to drop their push to include a permanent option and accept a dry loan for Ramazani. They have done so, in order to prevent a deal from falling through for Ramazani.<\/p>\n

When Leeds concluded the loan exit of Mateo Joseph, they did so without including a permanent clause. It means that Leeds still hold all the power next summer, when Joseph\u2019s Mallorca loan comes to an end.<\/p>\n

Leeds can decide to keep him, or choose to sell him for a bigger fee if he does well at Mallorca. There is a confidence at Leeds that Joseph will do well, and the Spain U21 star will thrive being back in Spain.<\/p>\n

Now, Leeds are set to allow Ramazani to do the same. To go on loan without a permanent option.
