Bayern Munich<\/a> have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea<\/a> forward Nicolas Jackson<\/a> over a move to Germany, with negotiations now expected to centre on the structure of a potential deal.<\/p>\n

The Bundesliga<\/a> champions are believed to want to take the 24-year-old on loan, while Chelsea continue to favour a permanent sale as they look to trim Enzo Maresca<\/a>‘s squad before the transfer window<\/a> closes.<\/p>\n

Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, has slipped down the pecking order following the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer. He has been left out of recent matchday squads and is one of several players the club are actively seeking to offload.<\/p>\n

According to Bild<\/a>, Bayern and Jackson already have an agreement in place, with talks now focusing on whether the striker will move on a temporary or permanent basis.<\/p>\n

Jackson has scored 27 Premier League<\/a> goals across his first two seasons in England but has often split opinion with his erratic finishing and hot-headed style. Despite penning a nine-year deal tying him to Stamford Bridge until 2033, he is one of a number of high-profile names available as Chelsea continue their summer clear-out.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa<\/a> are among the clubs also showing strong interest in Jackson. Unai Emery<\/a>, who previously worked with the Senegal international at Villarreal, is keen to bring him to Villa Park, but financial concerns may complicate any move.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Villa have already sold academy graduate Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle to help balance the books after being fined \u00a39.5million by UEFA earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

Villa initially asked about a loan with an option to buy, while Chelsea are thought to want in excess of \u00a360m for a permanent deal. It is understood Villa’s pursuit will continue only if they can make the numbers work without triggering another breach of financial regulations.<\/p>\n

Chelsea, meanwhile, are pressing ahead with a series of sales to cut their bloated squad. Borussia Dortmund are close to finalising a double swoop for Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino, taking the Blues’ summer sales beyond \u00a3270m.<\/p>\n

Further departures are expected, with the futures of Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Tyrique George, Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell all unresolved.<\/p>\n

For Bayern, the move comes at a time of strength. Vincent Kompany’s side thrashed RB Leipzig 6-0 on the opening day of the Bundesliga season, with Harry Kane scoring a 14-minute hat-trick, Michael Olise grabbing two goals and new signing Luis Diaz netting the other<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kompany’s squad has already lifted the German Supercup and looks well placed to challenge on all fronts, with Jackson seen as a potential option to deepen their attacking line.<\/p>\n
