The new business replacing Cow Shed Sports Bar & Grill on Broadway in Bebington<\/a> has announced its opening date. Italian restaurant Bello Italia will occupy the premise in what is promised to be “exciting new chapter”.<\/p>\n

The sports bar offered all-day dining<\/a>, from breakfasts and evening grills, where customers could watch every football game live on big screens. The owners behind Cow Shed Sports Bar & Grill also run The Blind Cow on Town Lane in Bebington, which they confirmed will remain open and stay the same.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Cow Shed took to Facebook<\/a> to tell its followers that they had “important news” to share<\/a>. In a statement, the venue said: “It is with mixed emotions that we share some important news with you. This Sunday will be our final day of service at The Cow Shed Bar & Grill.<\/p>\n

“After so many wonderful memories, meals, and moments together, we will be closing our doors to make way for something new.<\/p>\n

“But this is not goodbye\u2014it\u2019s the start of an exciting new chapter. We are thrilled to announce that we will soon be reopening as Bello Italia, bringing you a fresh and authentic Italian dining experience.<\/p>\n

“From all of us at The Cow Shed, thank you for your support, laughter, and loyalty over the years. We look forward to welcoming you back soon to enjoy a taste of Italy with us.”<\/p>\n

Renovations are underway to transform the venue with a new look and outdoor dining area. Bello Italia has ditched Cow Shed’s colourful exteriors in favour of black wooden fences and signage.<\/p>\n

Bello Italia’s opening date has been confirmed for Monday, September 8. The restaurant will offer pasta, pizza, tapas and grilled menu items, alongside various wine options.<\/p>\n

Last month, Gusto Italian, the Northern-based restaurant chain with several locations in Liverpool<\/a>, Wirral<\/a> and Cheshire, announced it would be closing six sites as part of a takeover deal.<\/p>\n

The six sites that have been confirmed for closure are Heswall Alderley Edge, Cookridge, Edinburgh, Leeds and Newcastle.<\/p>\n

The majority of these are smaller sites in suburban locations which the brand have said became economically unviable due to continuing cost headwinds affecting the sector.<\/p>\n
