It\u2019s about adapting to who you\u2019re playing against and helping each other, move for each other, and then it\u2019s not really about the system. It\u2019s more like how you\u2019re dealing with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Dorgu, speaking before Sunday\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/football\/2025\/aug\/24\/fulham-manchester-united-premier-league-match-report\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">draw at Fulham<\/a>, expanded on the formation\u2019s fluidity. \u201cIt\u2019s up to you how you want to play,\u201d he said. \u201cIf the midfielders feel like they\u2019re getting man-marked, then they can move down, get the ball, and play. You need to move. Obviously, you\u2019re not just going to move around [anywhere]. I can\u2019t just run to the right side, but you can move in your position.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The United hierarchy\u2019s target is a return to European competition after a campaign in which the club finished 15th and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/football\/2025\/may\/21\/europa-league-final-tottenham-manchester-united-match-report\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lost in the final of the Europa League<\/a>. Dorgu, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/football\/2025\/feb\/02\/manchester-united-patrick-dorgu-transfer-news#:~:text=Manchester%20United%20seal%20%E2%82%AC30m,Dorgu%20%7C%20Manchester%20United%20%7C%20The%20Guardian\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who joined from Lecce<\/a> for \u20ac30m in February, is bullish about their prospects, however. \u201cWe are aiming to win the Premier League,\u201d said the 20-year-old Denmark international. \u201cWe are Manchester United, so that\u2019s always going to be our goal \u2013 100%.
