\n Hungry punters are still queuing in snaking lines around the corner outside Dishoom’s first-ever eatery in the city centre.\n<\/p>\n

\n We reported how the Indian restaurant\u00a0will open the doors<\/strong><\/a> to its ‘long-awaited’ Glasgow cafe at the end of this week,\u00a0Friday, August 29.\n<\/p>\n

\n However, ahead of its official opening, we revealed the spot<\/strong><\/a> was inviting foodies along to its ‘soft launch’, which is taking place between Monday, August 18 and Thursday, August 28.\n<\/p>\n

\n During the launch, walk-in diners will be able to enjoy 50 per cent off their scran.\n<\/p>\n

\n And one week into the offer, and just days before they open, queues are still snaking out of the door.\n<\/p>\n

\n We previously reported on August 19 that a huge line of customers could be seen queuing up outside the popular food spot amid its soft launch.\n<\/p>\n

\n The brand-new restaurant will be located in a Grade A-listed building on Nelson Mandela Place in the city centre, which was once home to the city’s stock exchange.\n<\/p>\n

\n It will be the brand’s second-ever Scottish location following its Edinburgh cafe, which opened in 2017.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ahead of the venue’s opening, Chef Arun Tilak, Dishoom\u2019s Executive Chef, previously\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cBringing Dishoom to Glasgow has long been a dream of ours.\n<\/p>\n

\n “The team has worked hard to create a space and a menu that feels authentic to Bombay while celebrating the character of Glasgow and the heritage of its South Asian community.\n<\/p>\n

\n “We cannot wait to welcome our first guests through the door for shared stories and leisurely feasts.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cEvery Dishoom tells a Bombay story which comes to life when people sit, eat and share together.\n<\/p>\n

\n “That sense of warmth and welcome is at the heart of what we do, and we\u2019re so looking forward to seeing it in Glasgow.\n<\/p>\n
