Laverty\u2019s t-shirt said, \u201cGenocide in Palestine, time to take Action\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe British government controversially proscribed Palestine Action as a terrorist group on July 5 under the U.K.\u2019s Terrorism Act. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLaverty was released later on Monday and is set to appear in court at a later date. Outside the police station, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KenLoachSixteen\/status\/1960005171771027965\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Laverty gave a statement.<\/a> \u201cThe most important court in the world, is the court of public opinion. Ordinary people are appalled to see starvation and genocide, and selling of arms to the apartheid State of Israel,\u201d he said. \u201cSo it\u2019s actually a great pleasure to be here in solidarity with all those people who have decided to not let their conscience down. So let\u2019s get on with it.
