GRAPHIC CONTENT\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"author-section byline-plain\">By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/profile-2921\/perkin-amalaraj.html\" class=\"author\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PERKIN AMALARAJ, FOREIGN NEWS REPORTER<\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"byline-section\"> Published:  15:48 EDT, 25 August 2025   |  Updated:  17:14 EDT, 25 August 2025   <\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">A three-year-old girl walked into a hospital in <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/china\/index.html\" id=\"mol-5aed7350-81da-11f0-877f-65582c48a93a\" rel=\"noopener\">China<\/a> with a fruit knife seemingly lodged deep in the side of her head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Footage taken outside the Dongchuan People\u2019s Hospital, in south-west China, appeared to show the young child being walked around by her mother with a six-inch blade stuck just above her right ear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The girl was seen tottering about as her mother is guided to the hospital by a member of staff in a white coat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">According to local media, the mother, whose surname is Hu, claimed she was changing bedsheets when she swung a sheet and sent the sharp object soaring into her daughter&#8217;s head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But a hospital staff member reportedly said the mother admitted to picking up the knife to &#8216;scare&#8217;
