Picture: Ian West/PA Wire

HOW DO I GET THERE FROM KENT?

The nearest tube stations are Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge.

The easiest journey for many Kent residents is likely to be on the National Rail train to London Victoria.

You can then hop on the Victoria line and change at Green Park for the Picaddily line to Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge, or get the District or Circle line to Notting Hill Gate and then catch the Central line to Marble Arch.

You can also walk to Hyde Park from Victoria train station. It takes around 20 to 25 minutes, or a cab will get you there in around 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Alternatively, you can catch National Rail’s high speed service to King’s Cross and St Pancras International and, from there, get the Picaddily line to Hyde Park Corner or Knightsbridge without having to make any changes.

Organisers do not recommend travelling by car because of likely congestion in the area, but if that is your only option then you can pre-book parking here.

Remember, if you’re driving from Kent then you’ll need to make sure your car is ULEZ compliant and watch out for the congestion charge zone which borders Hyde Park. You’ll also need to pay between £1.50 and £4 to use the Blackwall Tunnel since the fee was introduced earlier this month.

Finally, if you are travelling with bags, be aware that only small bags (no larger than 297mm x 210mm x 210mm) will be permitted inside the venue and there are no storage or luggage facilities at Hyde Park.

Some of the biggest names in music are coming to London for an outdoor concert series this summer.…

[7757
748,393,4884,495,257,269,16,15,20248
0":"post-37485","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-london","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-england","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-kent","12":"tag-london","13":"tag-music","14":"tag-uk","15":"tag-united-kingdom","16":"tag-whats-on-news
["GET
