{"id":374892,"date":"2025-08-26T12:16:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T12:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/374892\/"},"modified":"2025-08-26T12:16:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T12:16:10","slug":"u-s-russia-energy-deals-discussed-in-meetings-on-ukraine-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/374892\/","title":{"rendered":"U.S.-Russia Energy Deals Discussed in Meetings on Ukraine Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"speakable\">Senior U.S. and Russian officials discussed bilateral energy deals on the sidelines of the talks on reaching a peace agreement in Ukraine earlier in August, sources with knowledge of the negotiations told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/energy\/us-russian-officials-discussed-energy-deals-alongside-latest-ukraine-peace-talks-2025-08-26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a> on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to some of these sources, the potential energy agreements between the U.S. and Russia were proposed as an incentive for Putin to agree to a peace in Ukraine and a path forward for the United States to ease sanctions on Moscow.
