The iconic Irn-Bru Carnival makes its return in December, with tickets going on sale this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Briefs for the long-running event will be available from Thursday, August 28, at 10am. Celebrating its 106th year, the carnival is inviting people in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/glasgow\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"GlasgowLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a> to \u2018scream to win\u2019 their way to this year\u2019s extravaganza, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgowlive.co.uk\/whats-on\/family-kids-news\/irn-bru-carnival-returns-glasgow-32344847\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Glasgow LiveLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow Live<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A special \u2018scream-o-meter\u2019 will visit St Enoch Centre tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27, from 10am to 2pm, giving carnival fans the chance to step inside a custom-made scream pod and win prizes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Rewards include tickets, cans of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/irn-bru\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Irn-BruLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Irn-Bru<\/a>, and the coveted &#8216;Phenomenal ticket&#8217;, which allows the winner and three guests access to the carnival every day throughout the 2025\u201326 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The carnival will open on December 19, 2025, and run until January 11, 2026, closing only on <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/special-features\/christmas\/christmas-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"ChristmasLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Christmas<\/a> Day. A cheaper \u2018late entry\u2019 ticket grants access for the last two hours, while a reduced-price ticket is available from January 5 to 9 for those seeking post-holiday thrills.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The standard five-voucher ticket is also offered for visitors happy to let more daring party members take the lead. The organisers have introduced a digital voucher scheme to make it easier for visitors to access their favourite rides.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Ticket prices start from \u00a314 for standard admission with five vouchers, with discounts available for groups, concessions, and Young Scot card holders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/children\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"ChildrenLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Children<\/a> under three go free, and the first 1,000 bookers can claim a voucher for 20 per cent off selected carnival food outlets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The carnival\u2019s popular <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/all-about\/autism\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"AutismLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Autism<\/a> Friendly Sessions will return this year, with additional measures including reduced music levels, adjusted lighting, and slower rides where possible to create a more relaxed environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Sessions will run on Sunday, December 28, from 11am to 2pm, and Monday, January 5, from 5pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">During these sessions, lights will remain on, music will be turned down or off, and quiet areas will be available for visitors with autism or sensory processing differences, along with their families and carers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The Irn-Bru Carnival is one of Scotland\u2019s longest-running festive events, featuring classic stalls such as hook-a-duck and dodgems, alongside modern thrill rides.
