Merseyside Police said they were made aware of the sickening message, which contained a racial slur, this morning on Tuesday, August 26 on a<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/hateful-graffiti-sprayed-guest-house-32284582\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> bridge over Speke Boulevard, Knowsley<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The &#8220;hateful&#8221; graffiti has been sprayed at the side and under the bridge of the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/halewood\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">A561.<\/a> Police have confirmed an investigation has been launched to find out who was behind the graffiti.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A spokesperson for the force said enquiries are in the process of being carried out and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/knowsley-council\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Knowsley Council<\/a> has been notified to attend and remove the graffiti.
