The political landscape <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franceinfo.fr\/politique\/front-national\/le-rassemblement-national-serait-en-tete-des-intentions-de-vote-en-cas-de-nouvelle-dissolution-selon-un-sondage_7299609.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hasn\u2019t much changed since last summer,<\/a> so elections could very well just deliver another hung parliament. <\/p>\n<p>Before Monday, Macron looked unlikely to send voters back to the polls. He has repeatedly,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.parismatch.com\/actu\/politique\/emmanuel-macron-ecarte-toute-nouvelle-dissolution-255759\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> including as recently as last week<\/a>, reiterated his wish for Bayrou to remain in office and for political leaders to work together. <\/p>\n<p>However, the chorus of critics calling for Macron to dissolve parliament is growing louder.
