Kristin Cavallari opened up about her three kids on the Aug. 26 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
In addition to sharing her birth stories for all of her kids, whom she shares with ex Jay Cutler, she also detailed her most difficult baby, who co-slept with her every night for four years<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
The reality star added that two of her kids occasionally still spend the night in her bed<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Kristin Cavallari<\/a> is opening up about the realities of motherhood.<\/p>\n The 38-year-old reality star got candid about her three children<\/a> \u2014 Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 9 \u2014 on the Aug. 26 episode of her Let\u2019s Be Honest <\/a>podcast.<\/p>\n She shared that when she and then-husband Jay Cutler<\/a> had Camden, he was \u201csuch a good baby.” However, their second child, son Jaxon, proved to be much more of a challenge.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was the easiest labor and delivery on the planet, and he was a really hard baby,\u201d Cavallari said of her second son. \u201cSo maybe, maybe that was the universe just being like, \u2018We’re going to make [labor] a breeze because the next eight years with him are going to be really tough.\u2019 And I love my little Jaxy, but man, he was a really hard baby, and he was kind of hard until he was about eight.\u201d<\/p>\n Kristin Cavallari\/Instagram<\/p>\n Kristin Cavallari and her son Jaxon in 2025.<\/p>\n Cavallari noted that Jaxon had \u201creally bad eczema\u201d as an infant and was in constant discomfort, adding that he has since \u201ccompletely outgrown\u201d the skin condition.<\/p>\n However, Jaxon has another challenge that has lingered to this day.<\/p>\n \u201cThis kid has also always had FOMO [fear of missing out]. Even when he was little, I mean, he would only take 30 minute naps,\u201d Cavallari said. \u201cThirty minutes on the dot. This kid is up no matter what, no matter where we are, nothing mattered. No outside circumstances mattered. This kid only took 30 minute naps, and I’d be like, \u2018Oh my god, Jaxon, please, please.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n Kristin Cavallari\/Instagram<\/p>\n Kristin Cavallari and her son Jaxon.<\/p>\n The Hills alum said that her son\u2019s FOMO even overpowered their attempts at sleep training.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce Jaxon could walk so well, let’s say right after a year, when he realized, \u2018Oh, wait, I can get out of my bed,\u2019 \u201c she said. \u201cOnce he realized he could get out of this bed, he came in my room \u2014 I’m not kidding, guys \u2014 every single night for four years, I’m not joking. Every single night for four years.\u201d<\/p>\n Cavallari added that she \u201cdid and tried everything\u201d to get Jaxon to stop coming into the room, especially while she was dealing with a newborn Saylor.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m still waking up, and I’m nursing Saylor, and now here comes Jaxon every single night,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n What finally got her son to stop coming in her room was when Cavallari moved him into his brother\u2019s room. Now it’s one night a week,\u201d Cavallari shared. \u201cSo when school started, I told Jaxon and Saylor, you guys get one night a week with me.\u201d<\/p>\n Cavallari said that she actually does \u201cenjoy\u201d sleeping in the same bed as her kids, but in the morning, it\u2019s a different story.<\/p>\n \u201cThe problem is in the morning, because I get up before them, and then I have to be so quiet in my bathroom, like brushing my teeth, and washing my face, and getting dressed,\u201d she explained. “I want to be able to have the freedom to move about my room and get dressed in the morning without worrying about waking someone up.\u201d<\/p>\n In recent months, Cavallari has started sharing more photos of her three kids after previously keeping them private. Her children have consented to being photographed <\/a>and were even featured on her E! series, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.<\/p>\n Back in May, Cavallari celebrated Jaxon\u2019s 11th birthday with a special tribute post<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHappy 11th birthday to my baby bull, Jaxy,\u201d she captioned the social media photos. \u201cYou\u2019re the funniest guy I know, you\u2019re always up for a good time, and you\u2019re a true gentleman with the biggest heart. Never change, buddy, just keep growing into the incredible young man that you are.
