\n Emergency services were called to a report of concern for a person in Harlaw Reservoir, Balerno, at around 4:55pm on Monday.\n<\/p>\n

\n Police\u00a0said they recovered the body of a man at around 11am following further searches of the water on Tuesday.\n<\/p>\n

\n The force added that\u00a0formal identification is yet to take place and that a\u00a0report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.\n<\/p>\n

\n Scottish Fire and Rescue Service<\/a> (SFRS) said two fire appliances, specialist resources, and firefighters helped to assist the emergency services with the search.\n<\/p>\n

\n A coastguard helicopter was also called to help, according to local reports.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

\n A Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said:\u00a0\u201cAround 11:00 on Tuesday the body of man was recovered from the reservoir and formal identification is yet to take place.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cA report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n A SFRS spokesperson added: \u201cWe were alerted at 4.59pm on Monday, 25 August to an incident at the Harlaw Reservoir, Balerno, Edinburgh.\n<\/p>\n
