Ten counties in England could see a dose of ‘late summer’ conditions next month.<\/p>\n

Summer <\/a>is set to officially finish in a matter of days, with Autumn beginning on Monday, September 1.<\/p>\n

After enduring four heatwaves this summer, the latter period of the season <\/a>feels as if things have rather cooled off.<\/p>\n

But come Monday, September 8, it could feel like a final dose of summer <\/a>with temperature maps turning orange.<\/p>\n

According to WX Charts, 10 counties in England could see the mercury reach 26C that day.<\/p>\n

These counties are: the East Riding of Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Kent, Devon and Greater London.<\/p>\n

In the period up to September 10, the Met Office has predicted “unsettled weather <\/a>conditions” with the chance of heavy rain or showers intermingled with some “short-lived spells of drier and more settled weather<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

In its long-range forecast from August 31 to September 9, a spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Changeable and unsettled weather conditions are expected across the UK during this period with low pressure systems tending to dominate the overall pattern.<\/p>\n

“This will mean showers or longer spells of rain will affect the majority of the UK at times.<\/p>\n

“Some heavy rain or showers are expected in places, most often in the west.<\/p>\n

“Thunderstorms and hail are also possible, as are some spells of strong winds if any deep areas of low pressure form in the vicinity of the UK.<\/p>\n

“Some short-lived spells of drier and more settled weather are also possible at times.<\/p>\n
