Good Morning Britain hosts Richard Madeley, Charlotte Hawkins, and Melvin Odoom have offered their congratulations to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, following the couple’s engagement announcement yesterday (Tuesday, August 26).<\/p>\n

The Love Story songstress revealed her engagement to the NFL star through an Instagram post. The announcement featured a collection of proposal photographs, showcasing her stunning ring.<\/p>\n

She captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”<\/p>\n

As supporters went into meltdown over the revelation, Melvin fronted an entertainment segment dedicated to Taylor and Travis.<\/p>\n

“We’re just going to sit back here now and let Mel revel in the romance,” Richard opened with. “It’s all yours, Mel!” reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Packing in numerous Taylor-inspired wordplay, Melvin declared: “It’s become the biggest Love Story like Ever, Ever, Ever. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have said You Belong To Me and got engaged after two years of dating.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “They shared the news on the gram with a series of floral pics and a post that said, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,’ So Highschool was posted as the backing track which many believe Taylor wrote for her new fiance\u0301 and the post went on to attract 25million likes in hours, that’s like one of your gym posts, Richard!”<\/p>\n

Melvin disclosed that the ring is believed to have cost $1 million (\u00a3740,000) and commented, “Very delicious.”<\/p>\n

He further revealed: “Just hours after the happy couple broke the internet with their announcements, Travis’ dad Ed Kelce spilled the beans on how it all happened on Today Australia.”<\/p>\n

The ITV<\/a> daytime show then broadcast a snippet from Ed’s interview, in which he disclosed that Travis had been orchestrating the engagement for weeks and aimed to “make it special.”<\/p>\n

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Travis happier, let me put it this way.”<\/p>\n

As the camera panned back to the studio, Charlotte rejoiced: “Oh, so lovely.”<\/p>\n

Speculating on the grandeur of the wedding, given that Travis and Taylor received congratulations from royals, including Prince William, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Donald Trump, Richard suggested, “It’s quite possible it will be bigger than those two put together. Unless they deliberately opt for a low-key thing.<\/p>\n

“Can you imagine who would be on the guest list?” Charlotte chimed in, while Melvin jested: “We should all go down, if they need a DJ then let me know.”<\/p>\n
