Manchester United are in the market for a new striker this summer and could splash the cash in the German market.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> now has a shot at taking Manchester United<\/a> to the Europa League final in Bilbao.<\/p>\n

United beat Lyon 5-4<\/a> on Thursday night, roaring back from 4-2 down to claim a remarkable victory.<\/p>\n

United now meet Athletic Club<\/a> in the semi-finals, with Tottenham Hotspur against Bodo\/Glimt on the other side of the draw.<\/p>\n

Eintracht Frankfurt have missed out having lost 1-0 at home to Tottenham on Thursday night, with United no doubt watching from afar.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest United want Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike<\/a>, but the Frenchman wasn\u2019t able to help the Bundesliga side advance.<\/p>\n

Ekitike has been a sensation in the Bundesliga this season, racking up 14 goals and five assists in 28 league games.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old was a top prospect at Reims, but a move to Paris Saint-Germain didn\u2019t quite work out.<\/p>\n

Ekitike is now thriving at Eintracht Frankfurt and has even picked up four goals and three assists in 12 Europa League outings.<\/p>\n

United are now viewing the Frenchman as a potential addition for Amorim and former Old Trafford ace Owen Hargreaves<\/a> has praised Ekitike\u2019s talent.<\/p>\n

Speaking to TNT Sports, Hargreaves praised Ekitike\u2019s size and technique whilst highlighting his strong link-up play and finishing ability.<\/p>\n

Former United midfielder Hargreaves added that Ekitike\u2019s demolition of the England Under-21\u2019s just goes to show his quality, backing him to \u2018right to the top\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing that impresses me about him, even in the warm-up, the size of him and technically, he\u2019s very good, his link-up play is really good, he\u2019s a great finisher, he\u2019s got everything \u2013 he looks like the perfect centre forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you think about the best of the best, England and France have some of the best young talents in the world. They played about a month ago, our England Under-21 team is brilliant \u2013 he scored a hat-trick.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s at an incredible level already, he\u2019s gone to PSG, he\u2019s at Frankfurt, he\u2019s going to go right to the top,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hugo Ekitike price on the rise<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ekitike couldn\u2019t fire Frankfurt past Tottenham, but did open the scoring in the first leg.<\/p>\n

United will have been impressed with Ekitike this season, but that only means his price tag is on the rise.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest that Frankfurt now want \u20ac100million for Ekitike<\/a>, which comes out to around \u00a386million.<\/p>\n

That price tag has risen by around \u00a320million in recent weeks, with Ekitike\u2019s goals sparking major interest ahead of the summer window.<\/p>\n
