{"id":37747,"date":"2025-04-21T07:33:15","date_gmt":"2025-04-21T07:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/37747\/"},"modified":"2025-04-21T07:33:15","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T07:33:15","slug":"strange-desert-markings-resembling-mysterious-writing-spotted-by-cameras-on-the-international-space-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/37747\/","title":{"rendered":"Strange Desert Markings Resembling \u201cMysterious Writing\u201d Spotted by Cameras on the International Space Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strange markings that were recently spotted in a desert region of Tunisia by cameras aboard the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedebrief.org\/in-a-surprise-move-russia-says-it-will-support-international-space-station-operations-through-2028\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Space Station<\/a> (ISS) appear to have a down-to-earth explanation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mJsvr6YzOy4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video recently shared online<\/a> revealed the peculiar markings, which were detected as the space station passed over Tunisia on April 15, 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The imagery was obtained by a 4K camera, dubbed \u201cSpaceTV-1,\u201d aboard the International Space Station operated by <a href=\"https:\/\/about.sen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sen Corporation Ltd<\/a>., a data company that provides services that includes streaming of real-time <a href=\"https:\/\/thedebrief.org\/record-setting-nasa-laser-experiment-beams-ultra-high-definition-video-to-earth-from-19-million-miles-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video from space<\/a> to individuals and businesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Sen\u2019s cameras passed over the sandy desert landscape, the imagery revealed what the company says \u201clooks like mysterious writing etched into the sand\u201d which can be seen in the video below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incorporated in June 2007, Sen, a British-based company, aims to \u201cdemocratize space\u201d by making space data universally accessible and useful to everyone, from government organizations to private industry.\u00a0Sen employs satellites and cameras on existing spacecraft like the ISS to gather and stream video, which the company says can be used to provide insights into Earth\u2019s environment and a range of different space events.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commenting on the mysterious markings in the Tunisian desert in a caption that accompanied the video uploaded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@Sen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">its YouTube channel<\/a>, the company said that while the markings its cameras spotted may look mysterious, they probably have a more prosaic explanation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhile it may seem like a cryptic message, it\u2019s actually a striking view of agricultural patterns in the desert landscape,\u201d the caption read.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other recent videos the company has shared include footage its cameras have obtained of smoke from recent fires <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/HjNc0MPUldE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in Kansas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/3r2IfPrAIi8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in Veracruz, Mexico<\/a> as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/fqK7mLVPufo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vivid colors showcased in imagery of Cuba<\/a> seen from space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In another video shared by the company, a series of unusual lights that were captured as Sen\u2019s cameras passed over the Falkland Islands on April 12, 2025, were revealed to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/Ks_51q67pH0?feature=share\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LED lights on fishing boats<\/a>, producing an eerie light show that can be seen from Earth orbit against the otherwise dark ocean.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/thedebrief.org\/chinas-change-5-lunar-probe-lands-on-the-moon\/\" class=\"mask-img\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"120\" height=\"71\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/change5_loi.jpg\" class=\"attachment-codetipi-15zine-120-120 size-codetipi-15zine-120-120 wp-post-image lazyload\" alt=\"\"  data- style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 120px;
