Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli\u2019s future has been heavily discussed since the start of the summer transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brazil international has been a key player for Mikel Arteta\u2019s<\/a> side over the years, but he has struggled in the last two seasons. <\/p>\n

The likes of Bayern Munich and clubs in Saudi Arabia have been linked with a move to sign Martinelli, and there is still time in the window for him to leave, especially if Arsenal end up signing Rodrygo Goes<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Will Gabriel Martinelli leave if Arsenal sign Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid?<\/p>\n

TBR Football\u2019s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey,<\/strong> believes that Gabriel Martinelli<\/a> will not leave Arsenal this summer even if they sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have made seven new signings already in this window, and work is going on to land an eighth player before the deadline on September 1.<\/p>\n

Arsenal are in talks to sign Piero Hincapie<\/a> from Bayer Leverkusen, and that should complete their transfer business with respect to incomings in this window. <\/p>\n

However, some fans are still dreaming about signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid on loan, which would take their squad to a whole new level. <\/p>\n

Martinelli\u2019s game time will be reduced if Rodrygo comes in, but despite that, the former Ituano man is not set to leave the Gunners in this window. <\/p>\n

Bailey told TBR: \u201cI don\u2019t see Martinelli leaving, especially with these injuries now. Even if Rodrygo came in, I don\u2019t think we\u2019d see Martinelli go this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe in January, depending on how things work out, but even if Rodrygo came in on loan, I don\u2019t see them letting anyone out apart from the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko<\/a>, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and the others we\u2019ve spoken about numerous times. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo surprise there. I don\u2019t see Trossard or Martinelli leaving this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arsenal<\/a> fans have been very frustrated with Martinelli over the last two years because everyone expected him to kick on after his brilliant 2022\/23 campaign.<\/p>\n

However, injuries and form have stopped him from fulfilling his potential, and he is no longer a guaranteed starter at the Emirates. <\/p>\n

Despite that, Arteta claimed in July, during Arsenal\u2019s pre-season, that he is very happy with the way Martinelli has been performing under him. <\/p>\n

He said, as per the BBC<\/a>: \u201cWith all our front players, I think they are very dependent on the environment we create around them. We always want better and more from every single player. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think Gabi has performed very well and very consistently in the past three or four seasons.<\/p>\n
