It\u2019s no secret that London is home to some incredible food markets<\/a>, but now it\u2019s official! Recent research has revealed that three London foodie hot-spots are in fact among the most popular food markets in the UK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To determine where the UK\u2019s best food markets and food halls are, Betway<\/a> turned to the people to decide. The country\u2019s 40 best foodie-focused spots were analysed according to four factors: volume of Instagram<\/a> hashtags (#), number of TikTok videos<\/a>, Google reviews, and annual UK Google search volume. It\u2019s almost like a people\u2019s choice award for street food. And when all of these areas were considered, one UK market came out clear on top: London\u2019s own Borough Market<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But the legendary foodie destination wasn\u2019t the only London food market to make it onto the list. Also ranking among the UK\u2019s most popular food markets were Seven Dials Market<\/a> (#2)<\/strong> and Maltby Street Market<\/a> (#4)<\/strong>. But who nabbed the third position? That was Manchester\u2019s<\/a> GRUB MCR, which was the highest ranking food market in the UK outside of London.<\/p>\n

    Borough Market took the top spot thanks to a whopping number of annual searches and a huge social media presence. Annual searches for the food market numbered 9.8 million, and the market boasts an impressive 4.6-star rating on Google.<\/p>\n

    But while Borough Market took the top spot, it isn\u2019t the highest-rated foodie spot in the UK. That particular title goes to GRUB, Seven Dials Market, and Street Food Circus in Cardiff, all of which boast a whopping 4.7 rating on Google.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    So, next time you\u2019ve got a hankering for street food or want to explore a stunning food market, just remember, the best ones in the UK are right here in London.<\/p>\n
