Stefan Bajcetic<\/a> looks set to remain a Liverpool player this summer, being given another chance to prove his worth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bajcetic\u2019s career has stalled in recent years, following injury problems and a frustrating loan spell at Salzburg, but he produced a promising run of form at Las Palmas.<\/p>\n

Having now recovered after hamstring surgery in May, the midfielder has attracted interest from a number of clubs in a transfer.<\/p>\n

But the Times Paul Joyce reports on X<\/a> that the Spaniard is now expected to stay put.<\/p>\n

Joyce explains that the departure of Tyler Morton<\/a> and James McConnell<\/a>\u2018s imminent loan to Ajax has prompted the decision to retain Bajcetic as a first-team option.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how Bajcetic fares, in what is a show of faith from Arne Slot<\/a>, but he will have his work cut out in forcing his way into the team.<\/p>\n
