\n Festwich, which takes place Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, will feature more than 30 top tribute acts across three live stages, with around 15,000 fans expected each day.\n<\/p>\n
\n For the first time, Festwich will welcome hugely popular tributes to Eminem (Michael Mathers), Coldplay (Ultimate Coldplay) and Amy Winehouse (Amy Winehouse Experience), who will headline across the weekend.\n<\/p>\n
\n Alongside the debut acts, crowd favourites such as Slipknot (Knotslip) and other rock heavyweights will also return to the stage, ensuring there\u2019s something for fans of every genre.\n<\/p>\n
\n Festival organiser Jools Taylor said: \u201cTo be hosting Festwich at Heaton Park again, where legends like Oasis have played, is incredible.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe never envisioned it would get this big – from starting with just 3,000 people to now attracting fans from all across the country.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cEvery year we try to make it bigger, better and more accessible for everybody and Heaton Park allows us the opportunity to do this.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n He added that introducing new acts is part of keeping the festival fresh year after year.\n<\/p>\n
\n Saturday\u2019s line-up will cater to rock and grunge lovers, while Sunday takes more of a retro twist.\n<\/p>\n
\n Taylor said: \u201cFestwich was just an idea 13 years ago for an affordable, family-friendly festival, and it has grown and grown in popularity. It\u2019s clear people really value what we\u2019re trying to do.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n READ MORE:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n As well as the music, the festival will feature food stalls, five beer tents and thrill rides for all attending.\n<\/p>\n \n Despite its huge scale, Festwich always aims to keep its family ethos.
