Neighbours said the council was planning on cutting it down soon because it\u2019s diseased.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Photos show the tree smashed into the car, with one branch going through the windscreen and out the driver&#8217;s window.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/0_tree2.jpg\" alt=\"The tree fell on top of a parked car\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>The tree fell on top of a parked car(Image: Submitted)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Bristol Live contacted the council, which confirmed that the tree was &#8220;due to be removed before one of the limbs came down earlier this week&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A spokesperson for the council said in a statement: &#8220;I\u2019ve now managed to speak to the officer closest to this case and can confirm the tree was assessed in June and a job was raised to carry out works to the tree.
