Davina, who has been in a relationship with hairdresser Michael Douglas<\/a> since 2019, told Good Housekeeping UK<\/a>: “At one point, I thought his behaviour was a bit odd, but I couldn\u2019t remember why it felt odd. ‘I said to him, “Michael, I’ve noticed you don’t want to be around me much. She said: “I knew I was, because I’d repeat the same questions over and over again. We both laughed hard at that!”<\/p>\n The mum-of-three told fans in November<\/a> that doctors had discovered a ‘very rare’ colloid cyst that affects only three in a million people and would require a potentially life-saving operation.<\/p>\n Speaking on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, revealing she made an ‘end of life’ check list, she shared: “I had to make sure that my kids were going to be OK if I did not make it. That is all I really cared about. I knew my partner, Michael, would be OK as he is a whole person, but I was really worried about my kids.”<\/p>\n Davina was married twice and is mum to Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and 18-year-old Chester.<\/p>\n Davina continued: \u201cI went forensic on thinking about my children and where they were at in their life, what stage they were at. You\u2019re only as happy as your unhappiest child, right?<\/p>\n \u201cI came to a realisation after about six months of cross-examining them about their life and telling them the whole time how much I\u2019ve loved my life.<\/p>\n “My eldest daughter kept caught on. She was like, \u2018you are not dying\u2019, I was like, \u2018no, no, no\u2019, I realised that they would be great.”<\/p>\n In the end, Davina said her check list, which included three heartfelt letters to her children, was complete after she made peace with the fact that they would survive without her.<\/p>\n She concluded: “I am not afraid of dying anymore. It was the biggest journey of my life. It was an amazing time.<\/p>\n “I have been on a massive life journey, and I have been through terrible struggles.
