Liverpool are likely to do a fair bit of business before the transfer window ends on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds have had a busy summer, but still have some loose ends to tie up heading into the final days.<\/p>\n

Some of that pertains to incomings, with Liverpool<\/a> fans hopeful that deals can be concluded for both Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi.<\/p>\n

As well as potential new arrivals, though, there could be some heading out of the Anfield<\/a> exit door as well.<\/p>\n

Kostas Tsimikas<\/a> is one player who has been regularly linked with a move away, with talks ramping up over a move to Roma.<\/p>\n

Initially, there had been reports that Liverpool would not entertain a loan deal for Tsimikas<\/a>. However, with the deadline closing in, the Reds appear to have changed their mind.<\/p>\n

Tsimikas has not featured in a matchday squad so far this season for Liverpool, with an exit feeling likely right from the start of the summer.<\/p>\n

With Andy Robertson and now Milos Kerkez ahead of him in the left-back stakes, it is surely time for the \u00a312m<\/a> man to move on.<\/p>\n

A permanent exit would seem to suit everyone, but with time running out, journalist Fabrizio Romano<\/a> says Liverpool are now open to letting Tsimikas go on loan.<\/p>\n

Crucially, though, Liverpool are said to be keen on a straight loan without the option to buy Tsimikas permanently.<\/p>\n

Liverpool hint at future role for Tsimikas<\/p>\n

On the face of it, a buy option included in a loan for Tsimikas would appear to make sense for Liverpool. If they wanted a permanent sale this year, then that would help facilitate one next year instead.<\/p>\n

However, that Liverpool are resisting such an arrangement could suggest that Tsimikas has a future at Anfield after all.<\/p>\n

Things will change with the Reds\u2019 left-back options once again in 12 months\u2019 time, with Robertson\u2019s contract due to expire.<\/p>\n

It may end up being beneficial for Liverpool to get Tsimikas out of the picture for a year, only for him to return and play back-up once Robertson has left.<\/p>\n

At the very least it would allow Liverpool to assess the situation throughout the season, knowing that they have options should they choose not to extend Robertson\u2019s deal. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
