Scotland<\/a> squad for the forthcoming World Cup games against Denmark and Belarus.<\/p>\nHibs have already brought in his Scotland and ex-Birmingham City teammate Grant Hanley in this window.<\/p>\n
Another big factor in Hibs’ favour is that technical performance director David Marshall is also close to Dykes and another former Scottish international teammate.<\/p>\n
He is another driving force in the deal.<\/p>\n
The forward left Livingston back in 2020 for Queen\u2019s Park Rangers.<\/p>\n
He had four seasons there before he moved to Birmingham City last season.<\/p>\n
Dykes played his part in the Blues winning League One and getting back into the Championship.<\/p>\n

Hibs boss David Gray is looking for another striker to take some of the strain off Martin Boyle and Kieron Bowie.<\/p>\n
They have also spent a club record fee to bring in Thibault Klidje from Luzern.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old is being broken gently into the Hibs\u2019 first team.<\/p>\n
It has been a busy summer for Hibs, who are looking to build on last season’s third-place finish.<\/p>\n
