The entire controversy stems from French streamer Jean Pormanoves death. The 46-year-old, on August 18, 2025, was found deceased at his residence during the 12-day live broadcast. As per reports, streamers\u2019 content featured some scripted and pre-planned acts that included simulating violence and humiliation, designed to generate income and engage viewers.Upon learning about the incident of JP\u2019s passing, Kick stated, immediate actions were taken. The platform, as per reports, in response to streamer tragedy has confirmed that it removed all the video content that showed the passing of the creator. Also, all accounts connected to this event were suspended, pending investigations outcome.
