Two riders will make their debut in the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men, which will be coming to Gwent next month.<\/p>\n
Ben Chilton and Huw Buck-Jones will ride for the Great Britain Cycling Team in this year\u2019s race, joining returning riders Ben Wiggins and Josh Golliker, alongside Josh Charlton and Matt Bostock.<\/p>\n

Matt Brammeier, director sportif for the Great Britain Cycling Team, said: “For me, every time a rider pulls on the Great Britain jersey, they have the chance to inspire, which I think is incredibly special.<\/p>\n
“With this year’s Lloyds Tour of Britain I’ve brought together a mix of proven and experienced riders and those stepping up, giving them the platform to show what they can do to make the next steps in their careers.<\/p>\n
“I’m certainly excited to see what we can do.”<\/p>\n
Mr Bostock is the most experienced rider in the line-up, having competed in the race four times since 2018 and earning two top-10 stage finishes in bunch sprints.<\/p>\n

Josh Charlton, a former British under-23 time-trial champion, won a stage of the R\u00e1s Tailteann in Great Britain colours earlier this season.<\/p>\n
Josh Golliker, who made his debut in the race last year, rides for the EF Education \u2013 Aevolo development team and placed third in the under-23 Gent \u2013 Wevelgem in May.<\/p>\n
Ben Wiggins, a former junior world and European track champion, will compete for the national team for a second consecutive year.<\/p>\n
Mr Chilton, from Derby, finished second in the Lloyds Cyclo-cross National Championships earlier this year and has been racing in France this season.<\/p>\n
Huw Buck-Jones, originally from North Wales, also rides for a French club and has a background in mountain biking, including competing in the under-23 cross-country event at the 2023 World Championships.<\/p>\n

The 2024 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men begins on Tuesday, September 2, with two stages in Suffolk.<\/p>\n
The opening stage runs from Woodbridge to Southwold, followed by a route starting and finishing in Stowmarket.<\/p>\n
The race continues through Milton Keynes and Ampthill in Central Bedfordshire, before a hilltop finish in Warwickshire.<\/p>\n
