Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph is keeping track of the developments between Yang<\/a> and Birmingham.<\/p>\n

He now states that the EFL Championship side owned by Tom Brady have lodged a \u00a31.5m bid for the South Korean winger.<\/p>\n

Writing on the Sky Sports Scottish Premiership transfer blog<\/a>, Joseph reported: \u201cBirmingham City\u00a0have offered a deal worth around \u00a31.5m for Celtic winger\u00a0Hyun-jun Yang.<\/p>\n

\u201cSky Sports News revealed on Wednesday that Birmingham had an approach for the South Korea international.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYang had signalled to the club that he would like to explore a new challenge earlier in the window, amid interest from Norwich City.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will Celtic make a profit or loss on Yang?<\/p>\n

Back in the summer of 2023, Celtic confirmed the signing of Yang from South Korean outfit Gangwon FC for a fee of \u00a32.1m.<\/p>\n

He signed a five-year deal with the Scottish Premiership champions, but that looks destined to be cut short over the next few days.<\/p>\n

It means if Celtic accept the \u00a31.5m, they will be making a loss of around \u00a3600k on Yang. The 23-year-old has scored seven goals in 70 appearances for the Hoops.<\/p>\n
