{"id":383013,"date":"2025-08-29T17:38:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T17:38:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/383013\/"},"modified":"2025-08-29T17:38:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T17:38:11","slug":"wet-leg-to-headline-edinburghs-huge-hogmanay-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/383013\/","title":{"rendered":"Wet Leg to headline Edinburgh&#8217;s huge Hogmanay celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <img width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Wet-Leg-2025-Alice-Backham-Far-Out-Magazine-1140x855.jpg\" class=\"attachment-single-feature size-single-feature wp-post-image\" alt=\"Wet Leg - 2025 - Alice Backham\" layout=\"fill\"  style=\"object-position: 50% 50%\" loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<p>(Credits:  Alice Backham)<\/p>\n<p> Fri 29 August 2025 18:03, UK <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/faroutmagazine.co.uk\/tags\/wet-leg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Wet Leg<\/a> have been confirmed as headliners for this year\u2019s Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>On December 31st, the Scottish capital brings the calendar year to a close with a huge party at the Ross Bandstand in West Princes Street Gardens, and for the next edition, they have secured Wet Leg to bring 2025 to a triumphant close.<\/p>\n<p>The Isle of Wight five-piece will be joined by Scottish acts Hamish Hawke and Lucia and the Best Boys in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the organisers behind Edinburgh\u2019s Hogmanay celebrations said: \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Wet Leg to headline this year\u2019s Concert in the Gardens, and with Hamish Hawk, and Lucia &amp; the Best Boys joining the party, it promises to be a night of incredible music and celebration that will have everyone dancing into 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They continued: \u201cAnd not forgetting one of the world\u2019s great New Year firework displays from Edinburgh Castle. This is going to be a cracker.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Hogmanay was set to be headlined by Scottish heroes Texas.
