An Edinburgh family’s Florida<\/a> complex was evacuated after a gun was reportedly brandished during an altercation between guests.<\/p>\n

Jamie and Rebecca Walker are currently on holiday in the States with Channel 5’s<\/a> The Radfords for Sue Radford’s 50th birthday and were left “frantic” when they received the terrifying call.<\/p>\n

Rebecca and Sue were out enjoying themselves when they got a phone call informing them their pool complex had been evacuated after a guest allegedly pulled out a firearm<\/a> on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The pair said it was the “longest 40 minutes of their lives” as they had to drive home to meet up with the rest of their families. Thankfully, nobody was injured and both families made it home safe.<\/p>\n

Posting on Facebook to her 22,000 followers, Rebecca said the police surrounded the area and the family “couldn’t settle” until they were all accounted for.<\/p>\n

She wrote: “On our way back last night we got a frantic call that everyone had been evacuated from the pool complex because a fight broke out with other guests and someone had pulled out a firearm.<\/p>\n

“Sue & I were absolutely frantic and just wanted to get back as soon as possible. The longest 40 minutes drive of our lives, everyone was home safe and the police were there but we couldn\u2019t settle until we were with them all.<\/p>\n

“It was a fight over losing a basketball game.”<\/p>\n

Jamie and Rebecca are parents to nine children and have become close friends with 22 Kids and Counting stars Sue and Noel Radford – Britain’s largest family.<\/p>\n

The Walker’s jetted off to Orlando last week and have been enjoying time at local attractions as well as sharing pictures of their luxurious villa with their followers on Facebook.<\/p>\n

In January Sue Radford revealed plans for her 50th during an interview with The Mirror.<\/a> Her eleven grandchildren are understood to have joined them on the big birthday holiday, along with her children’s partners.<\/p>\n

She revealed: \u201cWe are going to do a big 50th holiday with all the kids and the grandkids, to Disney. We will go in the Easter break. The kids all love it and the grandkids do too.\u201d<\/p>\n
