Celtic are on the verge of signing Kasper Dolberg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hoops need a quality striker through the door before the summer transfer window<\/a> closes at 7pm on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Adam Idah is close to a Swansea City move<\/a>, and it is almost certain that his replacement will be Anderlecht\u2019s Danish hitman Dolberg.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports reported that Celtic and Anderlecht were in talks<\/a> on Friday morning, but now there\u2019s been a further development.<\/p>\n

Bold<\/a> are claiming that Dolberg is very close to signing a four-year contract with Celtic<\/a> in a transfer worth around \u00a38m.<\/p>\n

They state: \u201cAccording to Bold\u2019s information, Kasper Dolberg is close to switching to the Scottish giants, who are sending 8 million pounds \u2013 equivalent to just under 70 million kroner \u2013 in Anderlecht\u2019s direction. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe club\u2019s coffers in Brussels are in turmoil after the Belgians missed out on European football on Thursday when they lost to AEK Athens in the Conference League playoff. <\/p>\n

\u201cNow they can instead look forward to collecting a larger amount of millions on the Danish national team striker.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs Bold understands it, only the final details need to fall into place before Dolberg will sign a four-year deal with Celtic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conflicting Dolberg reports have emerged<\/p>\n

Danish media seem pretty confident that Dolberg will leave Anderlecht to sign for Celtic \u2013 but one Belgian journalist isn\u2019t convinced.<\/p>\n

DH les Sports + reporter Romain Van der Pluym claims: \u201cThere has been an official offer from @CelticFC<\/a> for Kasper Dolberg. It is not deemed sufficient.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn terms of the transfer fee for Anderlecht and the salary for the player, Celtic will need to make a new approach to convince the player and RSCA.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moreover, The Herald\u2019s Stephen McGowan<\/a> has backed up Van der Pluym\u2019s report that Celtic are yet to match what Anderlecht want for Dolberg.<\/p>\n

He has written: \u201cAnderlecht have told\u00a0Celtic\u00a0to increase their offer for Danish international Kasper Dolberg.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Parkhead side are prepared to pay a sum in the region of \u00a38million to land the 27-year-old as a replacement for Swansea target Adam Idah.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter initial talks, Celtic have yet to match Anderlecht\u2019s asking price or the player\u2019s personal terms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
