Seven years after they tied the knot, Meghan Markle<\/a> is sharing what was served at the party that capped her royal wedding to Prince Harry<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex, 44, makes the revelation in season 2 of <\/a>With Love, Meghan<\/a> on Netflix, which premiered on Aug. 26.\n<\/p>\n Meghan reflected in the episode with Clare Smyth, the chef who catered the menu for her private wedding reception in May 2018. Smyth trained under Gordon Ramsay<\/a> for 13 years before opening her first restaurant, Core by Clare Smyth, and is the first female chef ever to hold three Michelin Stars and three Hats from the Good Food Guide.\n<\/p>\n Smyth and Meghan spoke about what was served at the after-wedding party on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s special day, including a relatable favorite: fried chicken!\n<\/p>\n Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leave Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018 after their wedding to attend an evening reception at Frogmore House. “That was the most delicious meal,” Meghan told Smyth in episode six as they reminisced about the meal.\n<\/p>\n A self-described “foodie,”<\/a> the Duchess of Sussex said elsewhere in the episode that the fare for the wedding menu was tracked on a map to show where it was sourced. (“We really wanted people to appreciate where every ingredient was coming from. I mean, that was the most delicious meal. Everyone still talks about it,” she explained.)\n<\/p>\n “You know what else, was your fried chicken at the afterparty,” said Smyth, disclosing the dish Meghan affectionately described as “late-night bites.”\n<\/p>\n “It\u2019s not really something I typically do, so we had to try and create a recipe for fried chicken,” said the chef, who grew up in Northern Ireland. “And we did, and we kept it. We still do it for only an off-menu item.”\n<\/p>\n “Oh my gosh, I love that we have created something off menu and that our off-menu item is the fried chicken at Core. You know we\u2019re done, that\u2019s it,” the Duchess of Sussex joked. “If that\u2019s my claim to fame, I\u2019m thrilled.”\n<\/p>\n Nearly two years after they began dating in July 2016, Prince Harry and Meghan married in a storybook wedding<\/a> at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. An estimated 1.9 billion people<\/a> tuned in to watch, and the nuptials were followed by two receptions.\n<\/p>\n The first soiree was a lunchtime event for all 600 of Harry and Meghan’s guests, hosted by Queen Elizabeth<\/a> at St. George’s Hall. Both Harry and Meghan changed outfits<\/a> for the evening event, where Idris Elba<\/a> DJed, George Clooney<\/a> mixed drinks and the dance floor was the place to be.\n<\/p>\n “It was a huge dance party, everyone was letting loose and had a blast,” a source told PEOPLE. “Just a fun night and not stuffy at all.”\n<\/p>\n Both the bride and groom also gave emotional speeches, where they thanked guests and expressed their excitement for their future together.\n<\/p>\n “The speeches were both touching and funny,” the source said. “Harry and Meghan\u2019s personalities really shined.”\n<\/p>\n Season 2 of With Love, Meghan is now streaming on Netflix.
