This is an AI feature that will, as the name implies, help you compose your messages. It will suggest text for you in various styles &#8211; professional, funny, or supportive. You can of course either select any suggestion or ignore it.<\/p>\n<p>To use this, when writing a message in any one-on-one or group chat, tap the new pencil icon. Writing Help is built on Private Processing technology, which &#8220;allows you to leverage Meta AI to generate a response without Meta or WhatsApp ever reading your message or the suggested re-writes&#8221;, the company promises.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1756547134_70_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"WhatsApp launches AI-powered Writing Help\"\/><\/p>\n<p>WhatsApp says Private Processing has been stress-tested and validated together with &#8220;peers in the security community&#8221;. The feature is optional and off by default, so if you don&#8217;t trust Meta&#8217;s privacy promises, you can simply choose not to use it.<\/p>\n<p>Writing Help is rolling out in English starting in the US and &#8220;several other countries&#8221;.
