Meghan Markle<\/a> says that Prince Archie<\/a> and Princess Lilibet<\/a> mimic their father Prince Harry<\/a>‘s British accent with a pronunciation of one word.\n<\/p>\n Though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are raising their son Prince Archie, 6, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, in California, Meghan revealed in season 2 of With Love, Meghan<\/a> on Netflix that her kids say the word “zebra” with a pronunciation that sounds more British than American.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared the tidbit in the latest season of her lifestyle series, which premiered on Aug. 26, recounting a story she has shared previously.\n<\/p>\n While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show in March, Meghan shared the anecdote<\/a> when host Drew Barrymore<\/a> asked, “What’s your favorite thing that you see in your kids that you go, ” ‘Oh, that’s their dad?’ ”\n<\/p>\n “Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent. So they’ll say, ‘Ze-bra,’ and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out. They have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him, and I think it’s adorable,” Meghan said with a smile. “Zebra is a good one.”\n<\/p>\n (Left) Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the 2025 TIME100 Summit at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 23, 2025; (Right) Prince Harry, Prince Archie, Meghan Markle and Princess Lilibet at Disneyland.<\/p>\n Craig Barritt\/Getty; Duchess of Sussex\/Instagram<\/p>\n Meghan also revealed on With Love, Meghan that she and Harry pronounce “herb” differently, with her saying it with a silent “h” at the beginning.\n<\/p>\n “My husband always laughs when I say ‘herbs’ \u2014\u00a0he\u2019s like, ‘Herbs.’ He\u2019s like, ‘You\u2019re so American \u2014 \u2018Erbs, \u2018erbs.’ ”\n<\/p>\n She added that their children use the American pronunciation of cooking terms because “Papa\u2019s not cooking as much.”\n<\/p>\n After stepping back from their royal roles in the U.K. in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan moved to her home state of California in the U.S. when Prince Archie was a baby.\n<\/p>\n They eventually settled in the Santa Barbara enclave of Montecito, and their family expanded when Princess Lilibet was born in 2021.\n<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview<\/a> with PEOPLE, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about how Montecito has become protective of her family.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n “Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation,” she said.\n<\/p>\n For Meghan, normal looks like nights out with Prince Harry and their pals.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n “We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people\u2019s homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant,” she said. “I really love that we can just have fun.”\n<\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex seems to be having fun in season 2 of With Love, Meghan on Netflix, which premiered in eight episodes on Aug. 26.
