{"id":384944,"date":"2025-08-30T10:57:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-30T10:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/384944\/"},"modified":"2025-08-30T10:57:16","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T10:57:16","slug":"emma-raducanu-confirms-how-long-she-has-agreed-to-work-with-francisco-roig-after-losing-at-the-us-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/384944\/","title":{"rendered":"Emma Raducanu confirms how long she has agreed to work with Francisco Roig after losing at the US Open"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Emma Raducanu is out of the US Open in the third round, bringing to an end her first major alongside new coach Francisco Roig.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The two joined forces just before Cincinnati, and have instantly struck up a good partnership just after the British number one stormed into the semi-finals in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Solid performances in both Montreal and Cincinnati provided the perfect platform for success in New York, but she was soon halted by a rampant <a href=\"https:\/\/tennishead.net\/tag\/elena-rybakina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elena Rybakina<\/a>, who was unstoppable on the day.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the result, <a href=\"https:\/\/tennishead.net\/tennis\/emma-raducanu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emma Raducanu<\/a> was hopeful once again about her future chances of reaching such a lofty level.<\/p>\n<p>However, whether that\u2019s with Roig remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Raducanu rates her level at the US Open under Francisco Roig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After all, one <a href=\"https:\/\/tennishead.net\/tag\/us-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Open<\/a> reporter was keen to find out just how long she and the Spaniard had agreed to work together, with Raducanu revealing the initial time frame they had set out.<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old admitted: \u201cYeah. Right now we\u2019re working through to the end of the year, and I\u2019m looking forward to just getting back to work really. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s only been three weeks, but I think it\u2019s been a pretty successful three weeks in the sense of we\u2019ve made good improvement, and I think there are certain parts of my game which have gotten better for sure. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, you know, my weaknesses were highlighted, but I think, you know, it\u2019s only been three weeks and he can\u2019t really work miracles, you know.
