A source says David and Victoria Beckham are ‘closer than ever’ as the alleged feud with their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz continues to rumble on<\/p>\n

If any celebrity couple knows how to weather a storm, it\u2019s Victoria and David Beckham<\/a> \u2013 and a source tells says that the current family drama<\/a> is no exception. In fact, our source says Posh and Becks are \u201ccloser than ever\u201d, as the rumoured estrangement from their eldest son, 26-year-old Brooklyn<\/a>, and daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz<\/a>, 30, continues to rumble on.<\/p>\n

Photos of the pair enjoying a luxury Italian yacht trip<\/a> showed anything but a couple in distress, with David seen in one snap sneaking a cheeky grab of his wife\u2019s derri\u00e8re. \u201cVictoria and David are very good at pulling together when things around them are rubbish. She has learned how to navigate a lot of difficult situations since they\u2019ve been married, and she knows exactly what support David needs,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt works both ways too. No one knows Victoria better than David, so even though things with Brooklyn are awful for them, they\u2019re 100% on the same page and supporting each other. Family has always been really important to them, so they know they have to focus on what\u2019s going right, and pull together as a family, even if it\u2019s without Brooklyn.\u201d<\/p>\n

David, who turned 50 in May, and Victoria, 51, enjoyed the stunning Amalfi coastline in style<\/a>, taking in the views while onboard a multi-million pound superyacht. They were joined on the trip by their three youngest children, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and 14-year-old Harper.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based Brooklyn and Nicola continued to go about their lives in America, following their recent vow renewal. The pair, who met in 2017 at the Coachella music festival, tied the knot the first time round in a three-day bash at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022.<\/p>\n

Last month they delivered what some saw as a final blow to Victoria and David when they renewed their vows in a private ceremony at another Peltz family estate<\/a> in Westchester County, near New York, with none of the Beckham clan on the guest list.<\/p>\n

The ceremony \u2013 which looked every bit like a wedding \u2013 was officiated by Nicola\u2019s billionaire dad, Nelson Peltz, and followed by a star-studded butterfly-themed afterparty<\/a>. While Brooklyn\u2019s family were notably absent, the couple celebrated their special day with A-listers including actor Adrien Brody and his fashion designer girlfriend Georgina Chapman.<\/p>\n

Nicola\u2019s announcement of the event on her socials didn\u2019t go down well with some followers, and there was plenty of outrage scattered among the comments.<\/p>\n

One person wrote, \u201cSuch a shame that you couldn\u2019t find it in your hearts to have Brooklyn\u2019s family there!\u201d Another went as far as to say it was \u201crubbing salt in the wound for the Beckhams\u201d and would be so \u201churtful\u201d.<\/p>\n

Nicola has since flooded her Instagram<\/a> with more family photos from the day \u2013 with the comments now turned off \u2013 but our source says that far from ruining Victoria and David\u2019s mood, their son\u2019s vow renewal has made them realise they themselves \u201chave a lot to celebrate as a couple\u201d.<\/p>\n

When Spice Girl Victoria and Inter Miami CF co-owner David married at Ireland\u2019s Luttrellstown Castle on 4 July 1999<\/a>, with new baby Brooklyn making his first public appearance, the event cemented their place as an up-and-coming celebrity power couple.<\/p>\n

“However, it remained a family affair, with Victoria\u2019s sister Louise, her baby daughter Liberty, and David\u2019s young niece Georgina the bridesmaids, and only 29 of their nearest and dearest were invited to witness their ceremony, before more than 250 guests joined them for the lavish reception.<\/p>\n

According to our source, with 26 years under their belts and the new realisation that they never know what tomorrow will bring, we can expect the couple to continue to pull together and face new challenges head on.<\/p>\n
